Abstract

The beauty industry in Indonesia has shown significant growth, including in Majalengka, which has led to an increasing demand for efficient and professional salon services. However, many salons, including Purigeulis by REDDG, still rely on manual, chat-based reservation systems that are prone to delays, recording errors, and declining service quality. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based application to optimize the reservation system and service management at the Purigeulis by REDDG beauty salon. The methods used include observation, interviews, and questionnaires to explore user requirements, as well as the Waterfall approach in the system development process, covering requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results indicate that the web-based reservation system successfully improves operational efficiency by reducing the time required for booking and schedule management. In addition, the developed service management system enhances customer satisfaction by enabling a faster and more independent reservation process.
